It’s my birthday month once again. Yey! But before that, the usual spooky and eeky mood is back in view of the Catholics’ All-Saint’s / Soul’s Day.

A Gift of Hope
Few days ago, I was given the opportunity to take photos of a young man – a 9-month old baby, who was about to undergo an eye surgery. His eyes have cataract, and does not have an iris. It was really saddening to learn that a baby has to endure such. Fortunately, Scope International, through the Seeing is Believing initiative, has sponsored his surgery and iris implants. A blessing that his parents, who are also blind, are surely grateful of.
Receiving My 1st Photography Award
Yesterday was a rather good day for me. Despite not lasting the whole day, I’ve embraced the good vibes with arms open wide.
The company I’m working at held an internal Photo Competition for two consecutive years. One of which – 2010, I was able to submit a few photos that I took during a photowalk at the Thean Hou Temple.

This really is motivating for me. But it would have been more motivating if they’ve awarded me with a new DSLR. Hahahaha!
The Lemon Garden Cafe @ Shangri La KL
This year, our Team’s (buffet) dinner was held at The Lemon Garden Cafe in Shangri La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Food was great… and FREE!
By the way, this will mark the start of “micro-entry” posts in my blog. Basically, less words (aka “I’m lazy to think” hehe).
